Side projects are a growing entry point for emerging and established creatives to build, expand and experiment with their practice. Yet so often, it’s our personal creative work that falls to the bottom of the to-do list. This event is for anyone who feels stuck or doesn’t know where to start with their creative project. Side project lessons: How to start and sustain your creative project will cover everything from trusting your own ideas and building routines, to talking money and self-care strategies to keep up momentum.

Hosted by Madeleine Dore, creator of the interview project Extraordinary Routines and event series Side Project Sessions, in a series of candid conversations several creative minds will draw on personal challenges and triumphs of starting, sustaining and switching up there creative projects to help you do the same.

Lesson timetable:
10am: ‘Learning to trust your ideas’ with journalist and filmmaker Santilla Chingaipe.
11am: ‘Building your creative life through routines and habits’ with writer Madeleine Dore.
12pm: ‘Keep on keeping on’ with craft-based designer and author, Kitiya Palaskas.
