This event celebrates songwriting as a means of self-expression and legacy by people whose lives have been touched by cancer. All songs that will be performed and discussed have been created in music therapy (MT) sessions with Dr Emma O’Brien OAM, at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Performers include cancer survivor Julia Cannell, medical graduates who volunteer in MT at RMH, the MT team, and Dr O’Brien.
